Aleksey Tsalolikhin — CEO and Principal Architect
Aleksey is passionate about enhancing efficiency and productivity in IT operations. He founded Vertical Sysadmin to deliver “effective training in excellent technologies” to operations practitioners. In 2011, the League of Professional System Administrators recognized him with their “Mentor of the Year” award, and he now serves on their Board of Directors. Outside work, he maintains a balcony herb garden and hikes with his family.
Mike Weilgart — Lead Consultant/Trainer
Mike has a lifelong interest in mathematics and computers. He currently works as an automation specialist at a Fortune 50 company and is dedicated to training people toward “full mastery of their tools.”
Lori Barfield — COO
Lori began her career as a senior UNIX system administrator at an Internet startup that eventually went public. She now holds executive roles in technology firms and maintains an IT executive consulting practice. She co-founded ShellCon and chairs roles at SCaLE conference in Southern California. In 2017, she created RaiseMe, a career development initiative.
